Our Commitment to the Community

Partnering with Project Safe

At Phil Hughes Honda, giving back to the Athens community is more than a value — it's a priority. During the month of May 2025, we partnered with Project Safe, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending domestic violence through crisis intervention, ongoing support, legal advocacy, and prevention education.

For every new vehicle sold throughout the month, Phil Hughes Honda contributed $100 to Project Safe — resulting in a total donation of $7,700. We’re proud to support their mission of safety, empowerment, and hope for those affected by domestic violence in our community.

Supporting Athens Pets

In July 2025, we continued our commitment to the Athens community by partnering with Athens Pets, an organization dedicated to helping local shelter animals find loving homes. As part of this initiative, customers who brought in at least a 5 lb bag and 5 cans of dog or cat food received 12% off their parts or service visit.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our customers, we were able to donate roughly 150 bags of dry food and 75 pounds of wet food to Athens Pets — helping to feed and care for animals in need throughout our community.
