You all are free to call me but you will always get the same answer. Phil Hughes is the bomb! Not sure why no else is able to do what you all do but, every time I come in, it is a great experience, I feel that the time I wait on my service is a resaonable amount of time, everyone is very polite from the person checking me in to the ladies that deal with the invoice. I really can't put my finger on exactly what it is that you all do right, but I have found every one of my sevice visits to be an enjoyable experience.

Here I was in Atlanta with a "dead" car on my hands, and I needed to get myself (and the car) back home to Athens. The wonderful people at AAA explained to me that the service offers 100 miles of free towing, and they helped arrange a tow from Atlanta back to Phil Hughes Honda here in Athens.
The people at the Phil Hughes Honda showroom were extremely kind and helpful. One gentleman showed me how to fill out the appropriate forms and explaied what steps I should take. Because my cell phone had also "died", Jennifer, your receptionist, made several calls on my behalf to car rental agencies, most of which were closed. We were finally able to communicate with one agency that was closed today but would be open tomorrow.
Once I had made a reservation for a car, I was faced with the problem of getting from Phil Hughes Honda in West Athens back to my home in East Athens. There was another gentleman in your showroom who was also very kind. He tried looking up phone numbers for me, and then went elsewhere in the showroom. Finally he re-appeared with another gentleman, Richard. Richard lives near me in East Athens, and he would be able to take me home.
Richard drove me home, telling me stories about the Georgia Bulldogs and the UGA athletic tradition. After he dropped me off at my front door, I walked inside feeling very tired and very grateful. A great many kind people, several among them from Phil Hughes Honda, came to my assistance today. I wish that I knew all their names. Because of them, I an now back in my home, safe and happy.

There were a couple of things I wanted the mechanic to check out so I brought it back yesterday, (2/7/08) for servicing.
Both my husband and I dealt with Ashley Murray. We both were very impressed Ashley. He is extremely professional, courteous, and friendly and has a great "can-do" attitude. Ashley treated us as if we were his only customer. He answered my questions and treated me with respect. The one thing I am impressed with is that he shook my hand and looked me in the eye when he addressed me. Sometimes, service personnel don't treat women with the same respect as they do another man so I was very pleased with his winning personality. I had explained to Ashley that I needed to be at work at 8:00 a.m. so he made arrangements for the shuttle to take me to work.
I also want to commend your shuttle driver, Smitty. He was very courteous and is a very good driver.
Too many times, management hears only the complaints about personnel but I believe it is important to also give credit where credit is due. Please express our thanks to Ashley and Smitty for doing such a great job.
That one-on-one customer service after the sale is the thing that will encourage us to spread the good word about Phil Hughes Honda.

I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a new Honda Pilot from your company. Prior to the purchase, I was apprehensive about the ordeal of looking at and comparing cars - and about the negotiating/deal-making process. I confess it has never been one of my favorite transactions.
However, thanks to the professional, genuine, and honest approach to sales that your employee (Mr. Eli Reeves) provided, the experience was quite unexpectedly positive.
Although I am originally from madison, GA - and often visit lake Oconee, I currently reside in Charlotte, NC. I had several oppportunites to trade in Charlotte, but made the decision to trade with Phil Hughes soleley because of Mr. Reeves's patient and helpful manner. And I might also say that I "shopped" at three other dealerships in Athens prior to stopping at Hughes. And I found no other slaes person as knowledgeable about the cars or as effective in answering the questions I had concerning the comparison of several comparable vehicles.
Yor dealership was also recommended to me by Madison residents, W.H. Ashburn and family.

It is rare to find the kind of customer-oriented service that my husband and I received at Phil Hughes, and I wanted to thank you and your sales staff for your efforts in making our purchase experience a pleasant one.
Until now, I have always viewed the car buying process as tedious and stressful, and I dreaded going through it again. I was pleasantly surprised, however, with the ease and smoothness of the sales transaction at Phil Hughes.
I am certain that the primary reason for this wonderful buying experience was your sales representative, Dennis Bence. Mr. Bence knew that we wanted to purchase a car in the most down-to-earth, no-nonsense manner available. We did not want to spend hours in the showroom waiting for lengthy credit checks, nor did we want to waste valuable time wrestling over the purchase price. Mr. Bence seemed to understand this, and did his best to ensure a positive buying experience.
Dennis was courteous, knowledgeable, and above all, totally devoted to our car needs. He patiently explained the differences in trim packages, answered all of our questions, and arranged for a test drive where we could truly test the performance of the car, including the passing ability, handling on curved roadways, and both city and highway performance.
Once we had decided on a model to purchase, he painstakingly explained the functions and abilities of the control panels, moon roof, gear levels, climate control, seat adjustment, audio system, and cargo space. He even preset the car stereo to my favorite radio station!
Please express our deepest gratitude to Dennis for the outstanding service we received and continue to receive from him and Phil Hughes Honda.
